UNDERSTAND THE ROSTER

Find a partner, then plan how to play

The PokéSurvivor Pokédex lists 966 partners across Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and Paldea. Each Pokémon appears in its home region, with Starter and Legendary entries included in that region’s total.

Use a name or national number to find a specific partner, or combine region, type and status filters to compare your options. Each card shows the Pokémon’s image, number, name and types. The list describes the roster, not the partners already unlocked on your account.

More partners become available through the game’s regional collection system using tickets earned during play. Partners have their own move pools and permanent upgrade progress, so a new choice can change how you approach a run. Check the game for current unlocks and upgrade details.

Before choosing a build, follow a type label to its matchup reference and check the moves available to that partner in the game. You control one active move at a time; its coverage, damage type and evolution requirements all matter alongside your positioning.

What the roster labels tell you

Starter · 29 partners

The Starter marker identifies 29 entries, including the regional starter trios. It is a roster flag, not a promise of immediate availability or a ranking of partner strength.

Legendary · 87 partners

87 entries carry the Legendary flag. They are included alongside other Pokémon in their home regions and can be partners once unlocked. Read the guide before attempting a legendary rift.

Two types, combined matchups

A dual-type Pokémon has two defensive modifiers to consider. Multiply the relevant factors, then apply the ×2.4 maximum. The active move uses its own damage type; it does not automatically use both of the partner’s types.

Nine regions, different roster sizes

The listed totals range from 70 Pokémon in Kalos to 151 in Kanto. Region navigation shows each full count; filtering updates the visible results without changing the underlying collection.
