Reach the move’s level cap
The reference lists level 5 as the move cap. Build up a compatible base move rather than expecting a new level-one skill to evolve immediately.
Explore all 64 documented moves and 59 evolution recipes. Compare attack patterns, check the required upgrade card and choose an active move that suits your partner and the enemies ahead.
Your selected move attacks automatically; movement and skill switching stay under your control. Level-up cards can add a move, upgrade one you already hold or improve your Pokémon. A partner’s move pool determines which skills are available.

Check the recipe for Power, Vigor, Reflexes, Sprint, Armor, Synthesis or Magnet. The required card varies by move.
Once both requirements are met, the evolution can enter the level-up offers. Choose it when it appears to convert the move.

Compare burst, orbit and aura coverage. Look for an attack that helps keep nearby space usable while you dodge.
Consider a beam or a suitable projectile, then check its type matchup and whether you can keep the target in range safely.
Piercing shots and returning attacks may cover several targets on a narrow path. Watch their travel direction and reach.
Dash attacks move your partner; trails and placed effects can leave damage behind. Check landing space and effect duration before relying on them.
Read which stat it builds and when it applies. A non-damaging skill cannot directly clear the enemies blocking your route.
These are situational suggestions, not independently tested rankings. Check type matchups and weather alongside the attack pattern.
This reference contains 64 moves across 18 types, including 59 evolution recipes and five unevolved support moves. The entries cover 15 delivery kinds.
Raise a compatible base move to its maximum level, obtain the exact upgrade card shown in its recipe and select the evolution when it appears. Meeting the requirements does not automatically transform the move.
Swords Dance, Agility, Harden, Aqua Ring and Dragon Dance are the five entries without an evolution in the documented list. They build stats or regeneration instead of dealing direct damage.
Your selected move attacks automatically. Switch among the available skill slots to change the active move. Read individual descriptions for placed effects and their duration.
The recipe belongs to the individual move. Moves sharing a type can require different cards, so check the named requirement rather than guessing from the type.
There is no universal choice in this guide. Compare the move’s coverage, your partner’s available pool, the enemy matchup and your route through the horde. A boss encounter may need a different active move from a dense crowd.
The listed buff moves do not inflict direct damage, so their stat effect is not itself a super-effective hit. The damaging move you later select still uses its own type matchup.
Choose a partner, build an attack and watch for the card it needs.
